The second issue of the Teaching 2025 newsletter was published on May 28.

Teaching is a central task of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. With the adoption of the “Strategy - Teaching”, it is emphasized as an important component of the university's strategic development. In fact, there are many developments in teaching at Friedrich Schiller University that are new to report on and discover. In the new issue, you can expect the following articles, among others:

  • In the lead interview (Lehre NACHGEFRAGT), Dina Thäle-Hoffmann provides insights into the work of the Psychosocial Counseling Center and points out possible solutions for students and lecturers.
  • The on-site discussions in the course review at the Institutes of Art and Cultural Studies, Communication Studies and Romance Studies, as well as the Ethics/Education, Culture cluster have taken place (Lehre IM DIALOG).
  • The Academy for Teaching Development is once again supporting innovative projects within the framework of its funding lines (Lehre AUSGEZEICHNET). 
  • The University of Jena has successfully applied for funding as part of the “Teaching Architectures” funding program of the “Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching” (Lehre DER ZUKUNFT).
  • The E-Learning Day is just around the corner and the organization team is inviting teachers and students to preparatory workshops (Lehre DIGITAL).
