Offers to Enhance Your Data and AI Competence

Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are increasingly relevant in studies, research, the world of work and social decision-making processes. Accordingly, skills in the reflective, responsible handling of data and AI are becoming increasingly important. Due to the diversity and interdisciplinary nature of the skills associated with Data & AI Literacy, these cannot usually be acquired in their entirety in a degree programme alone.

The DALIJE team support students from all disciplines in developing and deepening their data and AI literacy during their studies. The data and AI skills developed in this way go beyond the boundaries of the subject and can be applied in a wide range of social, professional and research-related contexts.

Depending on interest, prior knowledge and time resources, there are different formats to choose from, from low-threshold entry with short tutorials to our certificate programme.

Our offers for students

  • Hands-on sessions

    Our hands-on sessions are 90-minute individual appointments with changing topics relating to data and digitalisation. They offer a practical introduction to tools, methods and social issues. The sessions are open to students from all disciplines.

  • Self-study courses

    Our self-study courses enable flexible and location-independent exploration of topics relating to data and artificial intelligence. Basic concepts, methods and tools are taught in structured learning units. The courses are open to students from all disciplines.

  • Data & AI Literacy Datathon

    As part of the three-day Datathon, students work in interdisciplinary teams on real challenges from regional institutions. All interested students are cordially invited. No specific prior knowledge is required.

  • ASQ module Data & AI Literacy

    The ASQ module on data literacy teaches technical, methodological and social aspects of working with data and artificial intelligence. It combines practical skills with critical reflection. The interdisciplinary module is open to students from all subject areas without any special prior knowledge.
