How to (not) lie with Data
What is the module about?
Data and artificial intelligence are increasingly shaping science, the world of work and society. Skills in the reflective handling of data and artificial intelligence are therefore no longer just relevant for specific groups of experts, but represent interdisciplinary key qualifications.
The interdisciplinary ASQ module "Data & AI Literacy" teaches the skills required to deal with these developments in a reflective and responsible manner. It combines the technical and methodological foundations of the work with data as well as the critical reflection on data-based findings. In addition to practical insights into digital tools, the programme also focuses on ethical, legal and social issues. The skills acquired are applied and deepened in the context of individual data projects.
Who can take part?
The module is aimed at students from all disciplines and does not require any special prior knowledge. It can be credited as an elective in many degree programmes or included as an additional module in the examination certificate.
The course is particularly suitable for newcomers to the topics of data and artificial intelligence.
