Analysis of the work situation
The work analysis method serves to identify work-related stressors and resources within a team and to develop opportunities for improvement. It provides a quick and comprehensive analysis of the current situation and suggests areas for change.
Objectives
Development of proposals for improving the work situation in individual departments or work areas with the following goals:- Reduction of excessive stress
- Improvement of working conditions
- Strengthening of personal and professional health resources
- Increased job satisfaction
- Improvement of information and communication processes as well as collaboration
- Increased performance through optimized work processes and individual resources

Full team participation is required. Supervisor approval is a prerequisite. Student interest groups or similar working groups can also use this service.
Procedure
A moderated discussion takes place among the employees. This discussion is preceded by a preliminary meeting with the head of the working group. The group is led by an external moderator, allowing participants to express their opinions on difficult topics without reservation. Occupational safety
The occupational safety specialists in the Occupational Safety Department de advise and support the university management and executives in fulfilling their obligations regarding occupational safety and health. Their tasks include regular workplace inspections, assistance with assessing working conditions, and conducting accident investigations. The department also provides personal protective equipment and first-aid supplies and coordinates first-aid training.

Human resources development de encompasses a wide range of areas. Among other things, it makes a significant contribution to employee retention and motivation. Graduate Academy
The Graduate Academy of Friedrich Schiller University Jena de is the university's central institution for all doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. It offers them comprehensive services on all interdisciplinary matters and supports them during and between all career phases, from Bachelor's and Master's studies to the transition to professorship, research management, or professional fields in business and society.
At the same time, the Graduate Academy advocates for the implementation of university-wide, binding quality standards at the university policy level, for example, by developing recommendations and guidelines. The Graduate Academy also serves as the umbrella organization for structured doctoral programs, which become member institutions of the Graduate Academy and can thus undergo quality assurance.
