We support your research project!

We support your research project throughout the entire project cycle — from planning during the application phase, through the active project period, to the publication and long-term preservation of research results and data. This applies to both small individual projects and large collaborative endeavours.

Our expertise spans the following areas, amongst others:

  • planning and applying for third-party funding
  • developing data management plans and research data policies
  • documenting and publishing data in accordance with the FAIR principles
  • selecting and provisioning suitable storage and computing capacities

We closely collaborate with other university service entities such as the SFT, the Legal Office de and the ThULBExternal link.

Our multidisciplinary team offers training courses and workshops on a broad range of digital research topics with respect to research data management and research software development. We also offer customized workshops for researchers at all stages of their academic career.

The course programmeExternal link is also open to students, especially those working on their Bachelor's or Master's thesis. In addition, the Data & AI Literacy Jena (DALIJE) project offers specific lectures for early carrier students of all disciplines.
