Basic principles of Open Science

The term Open Science bundles [...] strategies and procedures that all aim to [...] make all components of the scientific process openly accessible and reusable via the Internet. The aim is to open up new opportunities for science, society and business in dealing with scientific knowledge.

Commitment of the University of Jena to Open Science

The University of Jena is committed to the four basic principles of Open Science:

  1. Transparency
  2. Reproducibility
  3. reusability
  4. open communication

The further development of Open Science at the University of Jena is supported and coordinated by the Open Science Working Group de. The working group offers a networking and exchange platform for researchers, teaching staff, students and employees in the science-supporting areas|field.
